ABOUT THE COURSE
Harness the power of the sun’s rays to create original prints on paper in this afternoon printmaking workshop. You will learn the basics of solar printmaking using a variety of colorful photosensitive pigments and will get hands-on experience making your own original prints. All supplies are included.

Melissa Gillespie, BFA
Melissa Gillespie is an artist from Fort Worth, TX. She earned her BFA from University of Texas at Arlington in papermaking and printmaking.

Join us for a group exhibition about the amazing diversity of the order Coleoptera! Darwin had a particular fondness for them, and about 40% of all described insects are beetles (half a million species or more)! With new species being discovered all the time, this artwork by 15 artists from the USA, Spain and Italy explores beetle diversity, behaviors, habitats, agricultural significance, and natural history.
