DIY Poster-Making // March For Science Austin

Art.Science.Gallery. invites you to get ready for this Saturday’s March for Science Austin in a DIY poster-making session. We’ll supply tape, staples, sticks, and markers and you BYO posterboard or cardboard. You can also bring other poster-making material of your choice (no glitter or paint, please), and we’ll have tables ready.

Space is limited to 15 people maximum per session. RSVP is FREE to one hourly session but required to hold your space. You can also see our current exhibit and check out our gift shop.

Wednesday, April 19th 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm or 4pm.

Thursday, April 20th 2pm, 3pm, or 4pm

Friday, April 21st 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm or 4pm.

We support a peaceful March for Science, so please brainstorm your poster slogans with peace and positivity in mind.

 

 

ABOUT SCIENCE MARCH AUSTIN

The March for Science is a non-partisan, inclusive movement to advocate academic freedom, the ability to publish scientific findings without penalty, and the open pursuit of scientific investigation, discussion, and debate. The Austin March for Science is happening Saturday, April 22 — Earth Day — at the Texas Capitol. We’ll stand in solidarity with friends and allies around the world to support and defend all things SCIENCE!

Science is more than just important. We couldn’t live without it.

Here is the schedule of events:

9-11 a.m. – Teach-in on the Texas Capitol grounds (look for Art.Science.Gallery.’s table at the event!)
11 a.m.-Noon – Rally at the Texas Capitol
Noon – March from the Capitol to the Earth Day celebration at Huston-Tillotson University
